Hi,
We are using WMS 1.2 with Wyse 3040 thin clients with firmware 8.5.024 and plan to update to 8.6.027.
To configure auto-logon and start a citrix desktop via WMS I had to use the ini parameters under the advanced section to get it to work. The default username and password options under General settings don’t work.
This solution does the job, however after a firmware update the auto-logon settings on the thin client are gone. Since we have a lot of auto-logon thin clients this is an issue to upgrade t a newer firmware.
I was wondering if the auto-logon settings under general settings work in a later version of WMS 1.2 and if these settings are retained after a firmware update?
Or is there another way to retain these?
Regards
hello, we had the same issue when we are using 8.5, after upgrading thin OS to 8.6 we are able to use username and pwd option from general settings
Hi,
Indeed with firmware 8.6 the username and password option are working.
Thanks.
