    Hi Clemsod,

Thanks for registering on the forum!

There are two ways to achieve what you would like to do, here is a brief description:

    Method 1 – Rapport
First set up a reference terminal the way you want – settings, language, connections etc.

You then extract the configurations (registry) from the device and push it out to all the other terminals. Usually I do this by using the bundle process Rapport offers to combine the registry with the firmware. Rapport is used to deliver this to all other terminals, see this paper:

    Method 2 – ftp
With method 2 you bundle an image with Rapport with you custom registry but use a simple ftp server to deliver the firmware. Why this way? ftp is very reliable and simple, it will auto-configure all your devices with minimal failures.

The key to both methods is to get you configuration from a terminal and bundle an image. I would recommend looking at the help file in Rapport as well as the process is outlined there. Also, if you have not installed Rapport use the older version 4.4.1 at the moment as the new WDM 4.5 has a few issues but will be OK when a hotfix is released.

This is a very short reply for a question that needs a big answer, post back as you have more questions,

    Cheers,
