I am sure the file server configuration includes an ip adress, and NOT the strange servername – so I don’t believe an DNS entry with the starnge server name will help – or do you still think so ?
The terminal has been running OK, but has been shotdown a couple of months and now restarted. I have checked the FTP (file) server it is supposed to connect to and the server and FTP service is running OK.
I have found another thread in this forum, which also mentions the strange server name – it seems to be a WYSE feature.. 🙂
