We use WYSE Winterm S10 thin clients to connect using an RDP connection to a Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server.
We need to setup time zone redirection on our Terminal Server which is set to UK (GMT) time. I have set the group policy object “Allow Time Zone Redirection” and in the wnos.ini file the timezone is set to GMT + 1.
However when logging onto a terminal server session via the thin client the time remains the same and doesn’t change to the ‘redirected’ time.
Any tips?
Hi,
Fist off I would test if it works on a PC – does timezone re-direction work?
If it does try manually setting the timezone on the Wyse device, if this works post your wnos.ini and we will take a look,
Cheers,
-TT
