    I’m trying to upgrade a WT1200LE from version 4.2.137i to the final release of 5.2.069.

    in my ftprootwnoswnos.ini:

    #This will prevent the user being asked to log in to the local device
    signon=0
    EnableLocal=0
    #This will upgrade to firmware if a newer version exists ing the ftp directory
    AutoLoad=1

    #Set correct language
    language=au

    #Set screen resolution
    #Resolution=1024×768 Refresh=75

    #Set wallpaper
    Desktop=Wyse.bmp

    In the 4.2.137i version of the firmware, I only have the option of putting the file server IP in, which I did.

    Here are my FTP server logs:
    000003) 6/29/2009 11:30:19 AM – (not logged in) (10.1.1.76)> USER anonymous
    (000003) 6/29/2009 11:30:19 AM – (not logged in) (10.1.1.76)> 331 Password required for anonymous

    (000003) 6/29/2009 11:30:19 AM – anonymous (10.1.1.76)> 213 321
    (000003) 6/29/2009 11:30:19 AM – anonymous (10.1.1.76)> PASV

    (000003) 6/29/2009 11:30:19 AM – anonymous (10.1.1.76)> disconnected.

    The thin client logs into the FTP fine, but doesn’t do anything. I’ve upgraded other thin clients the exact same way without issue (the wnos.ini may have been a little different).

    Thoughts?

    Can you do a factory reset on that 1200LE?

    I did do that, but I will try it again.

    Apparently the issue was with Filezilla FTP server. I updated to the latest version, changed the Passive Mode settings to the Default, and it works fine.
