hi,
I have a new WDM 5.7 server with one client for testing purposes.
it seems like I cant send any command to the client using the WDM – no restart/shutdown/change information etc.
all the commands are shown in the real time commands but nothing is happening.
the client is checking-in every one hour to the WDM server.
my client is 5010 with 8.3_012 image and 4.0.4.2 HAgent Version. Please Help, I want to be able to control the clients from the WDM server.
the only thing that works is VNC as I configured it in the wnos.ini file.thank you

November 3, 2016 at 6:08 pm #43435Hi again,
is it can be related to the repository connection ? since I get a HTTP Connection Test Error when doing a Connection Test – the exact error is WebDAV Error : failed to upload buffer. HTTP response code: 404Remote File path {SID}.tmp Error Code: 404
it can be that error causing the problems I mentioned ??
November 4, 2016 at 10:08 am #43442Yes, this is the issue. Unfortunately not easy to fix.
Can you connect to your webdav folder from Windows Explorer or map this as a network drive?CG
November 4, 2016 at 10:35 am #43444Hi,
I most say that this issue came after I reinstalled the entire system because of a HAgent error when opening WDM and expanding any WDM node. (this time I also had the issue of controlling the clients like now).
The procedure I made was to uninstall the WDM, uninstall SQL and then install them from scratch. After that operations the HAgent error has gone but the discussed issue arised.Saying its not an easy issue to fix do you recommend to do again a re-install and now to uninstall the IIS roles also ?
Could this issue arised after the new installation because its an IIS issue role that haven’t been uninstalled before the re-installation of the system !?Thank you for all your advices.
November 5, 2016 at 1:33 am #43447Reinstalling WDM should always include reinstalling IIS.
And yes, I would do a reinstall if I would be in your position.CG
