I hope someone can help me on this.
I am administering a mixed thin client environment of 1125SE and SX0 terminals. The SX0 clients point to an FTP server and are picking up the boot files and the global profile but do not recognise the user.ini files.
I get the login prompt as stated in the global profile but when I type the user name and password to access one of the profiles i get the message, wrong username or password. It will not let me create a new password becuase it states that it does not have write permissions enabled but they are to the profiles, the containing ini folder and the whole structure.
Please help.
Hi,
I did see this problem on old firmware, what do you have on the units?
You will need a user.ini with no password in it and it should be created on login. Can you use the NTLM option instead?
Cheers,
-TT
Check your FTP server permissions. Do you (your users) have write permissions to the /ini folder?
