S10 Saving Entire Config & Images for use offline

    Hi,

    Fistly, I cant tell you how pleased I was to find this website yesterday, the powerpoint presentation and downloads section saved me so much time. Thank you.

    My request is a bit strange, but what I’m trying to do is configure s10 termials so that they are locked down with a set config and a default connection even when the ftp server is not available.

    I’ve managed to get them locked down ok, and have worked out how to get the default connection to save locally however I can’t seem to get the images for the desktop and rdp icon to be available. Is this possile?

    Hi techman,

    unfortunately this is not possible. Using LocalCopy=yes or EnableLocal=yes saves a lot of things locally but not everything.

    Perhaps I’ll see if I can set up a public facing FTP in the future, after the pilot project is over.

    By the way Confgen, is there a difference between:
    LocalCopy=yes and EnableLocal=yes?

    Is LocalCopy=yes just for the connections?

    Hi techman,

    you are correct LocalCopy is just for connections. EnableLocal will save a lot of more settings like KB, etc.
