We have about 125 wyse S10 terminals connecting to Windows 2003 TS servers to pretty good effect.

However some users get lockups and freezes. I mean the mouse and keyboard become unresponsive. However turning the Terminal off and switching back on then log in and they are back up and running.

It does not happen every day. There are no error message.

We are currently running firmware version 6.2.0_08
We did have a newer version of firmware on new terminal but they wouldn’t get to the windows ts log in screen.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi,

you should definitely upgrade your units. Latest 6.2 code is 6.2.0_042.

What version was not able to login to W2k3 anymore?

The firmware that wouldn’t log on it 6.3.0_12

However just found that if I put
fixlicence=clean in the wnos.ini that resolved the issue.

I have firmware 6.3.0_12 which I think I may roll out to the suspect units.

I am having the same Symptoms on Wyse1200LE units, the Firmware version is 4.x.

Do you think the same fix could apply?

    i.e Add the ‘ Fixlicense=Clean ‘ to the WNOS.ini file?

No, the fixlicense parameter will not help here at all.
