RDP Connection to Vista fails

    Hi,

    I want to use one of my 1200LE’s to control a Vista machine but that doesn’t seem to work. The winterm tries to make a connection but it (without throwing any message) disconnects immediatly. The Vista logfiles don’t show any message eighter. A network trace show that the RDP request does arrive at the Vista machine though.

    I’m using the latest firmware I could find over at the Wyse site (4.4.079) and I was wondering if someone knows why the connection fails and how to fix this. Or, if there are newer firmware versions.

    Hi cactus,

    the latest version is 5.2.057. This one is not free and only available through Wyse/Wyse partners.
    I have tested this version and it successfully connects to Vista via RDP.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply. Does anyone know if there is a posibility to download an evaluation copy of that firmware? I search the Wyse website but I couldn’t find anything.
