Hello monkeys 😉
I am new on Wyse Thinclients, so please be patient to me.
I set up a WDM Server (enterprise, on W2k3). I also set up the DHCP Options 161 (ip adress from WDM server), 162 (i left it blank, so it should use the standard path root/Wyse/wnos/) and 186 (ip from WDM server).
Then i configured the following wnos.ini file:
autoload=1
Fileserver=10.43.11.163 Username=anonymous Password=
Rootpath=
Rapportserver=10.43.11.163
S10WDMFlash=32MB
Device=audio Volume=10
Language=De
Resolution=1280×1024 Refresh=60
DeskColor=”255 255 255″
DesktopColorDepth=32
Desktop=background.jpg Layout=Center
Screensaver=”0″
SignOn=no
IcaBrowsing=HTTP
SessionConfig=ICA DesktopMode=Fullscreen
CONNECT=RDP
Host=ATEGGE2000
Description=”mein PC”
Fullscreen=yes
Username=xxxxxx
Domainname=XXXXXX
LocalCopy=n
I was using the confgen toll provided by you!
So, when i now boot a Thinclient, he gets the newer Image (6.4.0) and all other settings (except the background image). But, i have to wait approyximately 1 minute while “Contacting HServer”.
I have no idea, why this takes that much time and what the HServer is for!? Has anyone an idea?
