No automatic starting of RDS

    Hi,

    we are using WMS to push configs thru dhcp option tags. From one day to the other when the Thin Client starts, Remote Desktop Services does not start anymore automatically. The computers boots to the normal desktop.

    What could be the problem? My understanding is, that once made settings in WMS are pushed to the clients till a new config is available.

    Configs are pushed to the client (or better downloaded by the client) on each boot.
    Only if WMS could not be contacted then the locally cached config is used.

    Therefore, the question is, what have you changed between working and non-working behaviour.

    Hi,

    we have not changed anything. In the WMS Dasboard I can see, that 2 of 3 devices are not checked in. How can I debug this problem?

    Verify the settings on the non-checking-in client whether the WMS values are correct. Confirm by pressing the Verify button on the WMS settings tab.
