our dell wyse thin client model is d10dp.
    wtos version 8.2_017
we are trying vmware horizon view 7
at first screen user logins to system
then when trying to run vdi link
right after saying teradici PCoIP optimized connecting to …
it gives error : the network connection has been lost (UDP)
but on pc via view client the system runs without problem.

    any advise will be appreciated.

I’ve had that problem a few times. Unfortunately PCoIP doesn’t offer a lot of reasons when it has an issue, it just dies without an error just as it starts to look like it’s going to work. One time was a firewall. Another was having the thin client on a separate vLAN as the desktops. This vLAN wasn’t passing all traffic, some was being blocked.

The most recent example, an update to a newer firmware was required, although I never quite figured out why it was failing. Looks like you have the newest already.

Have you tried enabling Blast or RDP and see if one of those protocols work?

I’ve tried enabling RDP but when run vdi link it gives the same error.
but I can connect directly via RDP on the same thin client.

by the way they are on different vlans. I’ll ask the network support group is UDP enabled between those vlans.

then I’ll write here the latest status.

    thanks.

We’ve moved the thin client to same vlan but the error is same.
afaik our firewall is transparent among vlans.
    what is the problem
    I’m stuck here.

    does d10dp support pcoip?
    i guess no!
because we gave up pcoip and tried rdp protocol and works fine.
scanners and some hardware cannot be used on rdp.
    but that’s not we want.

    help!
    thanks in advance.

D10DP supports PCoIP. D10D does not.
