Delays in S10 booting

    Hi Guys,

    I have just setup 4 Wyse S10’s, and they work brilliantly, but when the S10 units boot, they pause for 30 seconds saying:

    21: Contacting file server…

    And then errors out with:

    22: DNS/WINS can’t resolve [wyseftpfbc4tc]
    23: Cannot access system profile

    Then it pauses again for 60 seconds with the mesage:

    24: Checking software ftp://wnos/RCA_wnos

    Really I just want to disable whatever the thin client is doing, as it is for a small 7 computer network, and I don’t need any fancy management.

    If someone could point me in the right direction I’d appreciate it.

    Delete the value from “Fileserver” in the Network Setup-Server.
