After some try and error i just couldn’t get my date/time right on the Wyse S10 terminals, after a reboot it still says 00:00 🙁

We have defined 2 timeservers on our dhcp server but somehow the S10 says can’t resolve blablabla (I can’t read it).
What i have noticed is if you change the timeserver manual after a reboot it does works (system setup> network setup > time servers).

If there an option to force the S10 to check he’s own timeserver first and not the one he get’s from the dhcp ? Looking at the LinixAdmin guide page 11 is explained that wnos.ini “loses” from dhcp, but i want to enforce the S10 to check wnos.ini first.

    Hi aLIE,

this is working for me. Can you test with just one Timeserver configured via DHCP?
If I am using 2 or more it is not working and I just see garbage in the Timeserver field on WTOS.

    Happy new year

True, we changed the dhcp server to only 1 timeserver and it worked, back to 2 and the S10 is trying to resolved garbage. (eventlog says can’t resolve blablablalba)

Weird because the S10 is accepting 2 dns servers from dhcp but 2 timeserver from dhcp not 🙁 (defined like xx.xx.xx.xx, xx.xx.xx.xx)

Good to know it is working now.
If this is a problem for you that only one Timeserver is supported, you should call Wyse support and ask them to fix it.

After some time and emails and testing between me and Wyse, wyse finally got it all solved.
For now the time issue is solved for :

    S10 – using firmware 6.0.0.28
    V10L – using firmware 6.0.0.28
    1150 – using firmware 6.0.0.28
1125 – Wyse is working with a backport solution, hope to have a test firmware soon.

Please remember that firmware 6.1.x still has the time server error and the new firmware build will have the fix soon.

Thanks a lot Wyse for solving this issue
