I am having a problem getting the View client to automatically use the use all monitors setting as the default behavior when connecting to View Desktops.
I am running C50LEs on firmware version 11.1.052 with the View 1.4 client installed. I am connecting to a View 5.1 server
Here are my View settings I have configured in the INI
CONNECT=VMWARE_VIEWCLIENT
Description=”CENSORED”
Host=CENSORED
Port=443
DomainName=CENSORED
AutoConnect=yes
Useallmonitors=yes
Interactive=yes
UseSSL=yes
LocalCopy=no
I’ve tried using Fullscreen=yes as well with no change. By default when I am connecting it is set to full screen. Users have to select Use All Monitors manually before connecting or use the drop down menu once they are in their desktop. Minor inconvenience but if the options there I’d like to use it. I also realize this command may only work for the View 4.6 client as ConfGen hasn’t been updated since View changed to the new verison model (1.4, 1.5 etc).
Also, does anyone know where to get the View 1.5 RPM installer? Thanks in advance! 🙂
1.5 is not yet released by Wyse. There is only a beta floating around.
What do you mean by “ConfGen is not updated”? Did I miss something?
