Hello,
I currently have 60 wyse s30 thin client devices installed and connected to vmware view 4.5. I have the thin clients set up to auto login with a guest account and bring up the View login window. I have configured each one manually.
I see that it is possible to make those changes by using ConfGen. My question is, does the wnos.ini file need to be placed on a dedicated FTP server or can it be placed on the View Connection server?
If it can be placed in a view connection server, Do I just need to configure the DHCP server to point the thin clients to the wnos.ini file?
All the documentation I have skimmed through seems outdated and contradictory.
Thanks for your help.
S30 is Windows CE based and does not use a wnos.ini.
Only Thin OS based unit do.

Thanks !
Sometimes I feel like trying to get info on virtaulization/ thin clients is a black hole. It is nice to have a forum to get my questions answered.
You are always welcome here
