Auto Assign PC Name V10L

    I would like to assign the network name of the device with wnos.ini or something similiar. Basically i want the device name to be the mac address, and have it automatically assigned. Any way to do this?

    Hi,

    The units will already use WT as the auto created name, can you use this?

    If not three options:-

    1/ Use a DHCP reservation and specify option tag 12 to create a host name. You could use netsh to script this.

    2/ Use the include= command in the wnos.ini to pull in a file with the host name. You will need a file for each host, again script the file creation

    3/ Manually rename the devices from WDM
