    Hi all,

this is my first post so hello to all.

I have several Wyse S90 and also some C90 thin clients running Windows XPe, some of these need to have the monitor on at all times, I have changed the settings in the Control panel to be always on and also the bios setting allowing always on.

The thin clients do stay on but the monitor goes off after 20 or so minutes, I really need a way to keep the monitors on, any / all suggestions welcome.

    Cheers
    Steve

Maybe your monitor has some power saving?

    Hello !

May I revive this as I got exactly the same question ?
We got several C90LE running at this site.

Especially for one it became important to keep it’s Monitor on all the time
as it serves a public display monitor.

In BIOS I didn’t find any settings affecting the monitor.
The settings for the user that logs on automatically are set to “always on”.

Nevertheless the monitor switches off after ~20 min.
Is this “hardwired” in the registry ?

    Check
    – local settings for Energy option and screensaver
    – monitor itself
    – inside a session, if you use one.

There is no settings for that in the BIOS, so you can skip that part.
