    Hi,

    We have the following setup:
    Scanner: Canon DR-C230
    Client: 3040/5060 ThinOS v8.6 (USB Redirection Enabled)
    Server: VM RDSH Windows 2019 (PnP device redirection Enabled)

    The scanners gets redirected normally, and they can scan without a problem as long as no more than one user try to scan (by using a scanning app) at the same time, even though each have their own scanner redirected.

    When another user launch the scanning app, they get an error message “Driver in use by another program.(-4539)”

    I’ve tried disabling the WIA service, and copying twain_32.dll (and it’s .mui files), twain_32 and twain_64 from C:\WINDOWS to their %UserProfile%\WINDOWS folder, but it did not change anything (I suspect this folder is being ignored/not working, but I don’t know how to check).

    Did I miss anything? or is this not possible?

    Thanks.

    Do you see the same behaviour when connecting from a PC instead of a TC?
    Looks like a driver issue to me.

    It sounds like this setup is working for most users except for this one user?

    After more testing, I believe the redirection of C:\Windows to %UserProfile%\WINDOWS is not working, and I have no idea why …

    @brian1020

    No, this happens to all users.
