Hi All
We have recently replaced our PBX with a hosted Skype for Business solution. We use Dell 3040 Wyse clients which are amazing. Here are our configurations:
-VMware Horizon 7.11 environment, Golden Image Windows10 18.09, Office 365 ProPlus w/ VMware optimisation for Skype for Business installed
-Dell Wyse 3040 with ThinOS 8.6_206 w/ Blast
-USB Headset Jabra Evolve 40 and Jabra 930 Bluetooth headsets
Our problem:
Skype calls are often quiet, usually one way, so quiet you can barely hear or you can’t hear at all. We have tried it with and without the optimization pack installed. The CPU remains low. We did enable the real time audio\video in the Horizon client
If anyone has seen this before and can point us in the right direction we’d be in your debt.
Many Thanks
Andy
How is ThinOS audio volume configured locally?
CG
Hi CG
The wnos file contains the following line:
Device=Audio Volume=high
We don’t really do anything else with the audio config. I should have said in my post above that some calls are absolutely fine, it’s really hit and miss.
And after starting the session, is audio at full power in the session?
CG
Hi CG
Everything is at 100%
