Hi i have a simple question, what is the different between the lockdown and privledge options in the wnos.ini.
Currently we are preparing to rollout WTOS, and we have a couple of clients in production with Privledge=None Lockdown=Yes, im thinking about changing this to Privledge=None Lockdown=No what extra access would users gain ❓
Hi Fixxxer,
With Lockdown=no you can unplug the Ethernet cable and boot the device and it will go to a empty config and allow you to potentially create new connections. With =yes this does not happen.
Sounds OK but the G key also does not work and it can be a pain unlocking units in the field. I generally use lockdown=no except for areas like kiosks,
Cheers,
-TT
thanks for the info, much appreciated
