Hello Guys,
i have an issue with the Wyse Management System. When i try to shutdown a Dell 3040 Thin Client, i get following Message: “WMS agent: unsupported command (shutdown) received”. The “crazy” thing is, wake on lan, restore to default setting, reboot are working.
I have the WMS 1.4.1.
Do I need another agent or wms version?
I have one more question please. It is possible, to give a thin client only usb read rights? With Windows Server 2008 it works with the command “Diskreadonly=yes” but not anymore for Windows Server 2016.
Thanks in Advance
Best regards,
Daniel
Which clients are you using?

Hello ConfGen,
thanks for reply. We using Dell 3040 Thin Clients.
I was able to fix the shutdown problem with a firmware upgrade (8.6_206).
The only issue is still the USB Read Rights. Do you know something about that? Maybe a new command or something else.
There is no new command.
Sounds like a bug. You should report this to Dell support.
