Hello,
I got a problem with recording over RDP. Our customers using rdp session to get connect to windows environment. They want also using audio&recording for example for Skype or Teams.
I have started testing Dell Wyse 3010 and 3040 to achieve this. I am not using any of management server/ftp (WMS), just using as standalone. With audio is no problem, over rdp it shows up in sound device (Remote Audio), but recording device is empty.
I am using ThinOS 8.5.024

September 25, 2019 at 9:29 am #50816Yesterday I have installed Dell WMS and upgraded ThinOS to 8.6 on Wyse3040, unfortunetaly problem still exist. Any advices?

Also under Peripherals-Audio is show in Playback and Record Devices “Plantronics C320-M”.

October 16, 2019 at 2:56 pm #50998I resolved problem!!! Settings is ok, the problem was destination machine (Windows Server 2016 DC). If you want to redirect microphone you must install Remote Desktop Session Host in Remote Desktop Services Role.
I have tested on 3-4 different headset on different WS2016 RDP machines and without RDS Host microphone has not been redirect.
