Hi @all,
We just experienced an issue with 8.6_024.
If you launch a published app from a Citrix desktop (double hop), the users don’t see the mouse pointer in the published app, so we reverted to 8.6_019.
Citrix environment: Server 2016 with VDA 1811.
June 28, 2019 at 12:04 pm #50130Hi
We have a similar issue after upgrading from 8.5_B009 to 8.6_024. When users launch their Citrix session (not double hop as OP describes) from a Wyse client, the cursor is not visible in s<span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>ingle line textfields</span> such as the Outlook subject, username fields in the browsers Chrome & IE, …
We’re sure the issue is related to the firmware upgrade. Our master image has not been updated lately, no policies have been changed. Only our Wyse clients with the 8.6_024 firmware seem to suffer from this and the issue is gone after reverting back to 8.5_B009
When connecting to the same session from a thick client (Dell Latitude laptop), the issue is also not there.
We’re using a mix of Dell Wyse 3030LT and 3040 clients (both none-PCoIP and none-WiFi). Both devices have this issue.
Env:
Citrix VDA 7.15 CU3 on Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise & Windows Server 2016 Standard
June 28, 2019 at 4:12 pm #50132Hello,
My organization is currently experiencing the mouse arrow disappearing also after the 8.6_024 firmware update but it is only disappearing over one app we use. It is happening on all 5 of our thin client models 3010, 3020, 3030, 3040 and 5070s and only in our XenDesktop environments. I did discover that turning on mouse trails in the session allows you to see the arrow if that helps anyone. I currently have a ticket open with Dell I will update this when I find something out.
July 2, 2019 at 1:12 pm #50145We have the same issue. I logged ticket with Dell and they provided us with 8.6_026 Beta firmware for testing where issue is fixed. They will soon be releasing the firmware for production.
July 2, 2019 at 4:02 pm #50147I also had the same issue, good to know its being fixed.
July 31, 2019 at 9:01 am #50467Does anyone know, if this issue is resolved with 8.6_027?
July 31, 2019 at 3:34 pm #50475Yes it fixed my issue with the cursor disappearing.
July 31, 2019 at 4:30 pm #50476I can confirm this fixed the mouse cursor disappearing when you connect from a ThinOS device to a XenDesktop session and within that session launch a XenApp session. My mouse was previously disappearing in the XenApp session.
