Hi,
we have many ThinOS Clients with ThinOS 8.3.11 and Font Smoothing enable as standard. Now we login to a RDP Session on Windows Server 2008 R2 and set the ClearType option “on”. This change the ClearType Font succsessfull, but after a restart cleartype is inactive again??
What must i do, to have Cleartyp active at all ThinClients? With a Windows 7 or 10 Client the RDP Session always has Cleartype “on”.
Thanks
Clear Type inside the RDP session?
CG
yes, inside RDP sessions
greatings
Please check this link: https://www.sepago.com/blog/2007/08/19/bandwidth-requirements-for-cleartype-over-rdp
With Cleartype you need up to 4 times more bandwidth and RDP dynamically disables Cleartype if bandwidth does not permit.
You can add
Lowband=yes/no to simulate this.
CG
Hi,
yes, this is it. Lowband must be “no”.
Thanks so lot.
Frank
