Hi
I have an issue getting usb detected inside citrix VDI session with 3030LT device. the redirection works with windows client. here is INI file settings.
;*************************************************************
;* Redirection *
;*************************************************************
SessionConfig=ICA USBRedirection=HDX;*************************************************************
;* General Session *
;*************************************************************SessionConfig=ALL MapDisks=yes UnmapUSB=yes VUSB_DISKS=yes VUSB_AUDIO=yes VUSB_VIDEO=yes VUSB_PRINTER=yes
Is there anything that i’m missing?
August 9, 2017 at 10:31 pm #44963Change to UnmapUSB=no

August 10, 2017 at 12:08 am #44965Changed it but still the same issue. Any other suggestion?
August 10, 2017 at 9:38 am #44967Then also Mapdisk=no
What devices do you want to redirect? And I guess it is a XenDesktop and not XenApp session, correct?

August 10, 2017 at 3:18 pm #44969Still can’t see the USB thumb drive inside citrix xendesktop session. BT, I tried couple USB sticks.
August 10, 2017 at 3:20 pm #44970Sorry its a publish desktop windows 7 using Xenapp hosted in windows 2008R2.
August 10, 2017 at 3:44 pm #44973One more question. Is this really a 3030LT with ThinLinux or a 3030LT with ThinOS?
If latter, use this parameter string
SessionConfig=ALL MapDisks=yes UnmapUSB=yes VUSB_DISKS=no VUSB_AUDIO=no VUSB_VIDEO=no VUSB_PRINTER=no
And make sure that the thumb drive is formatted with FAT, FAT32 or ExFAT – no NTFS!
You should see something like “Registered drive D:” in the local eventlog if the thumb drive is recognized as such by the OS.CG
August 10, 2017 at 3:54 pm #44974Its a 3030LT thinOS. I can see D: (FAT 32) drive in the local eventlog of the Thin OS but still not recognized inside VDI.
August 11, 2017 at 11:00 am #44976As it is ThinOS, I have moved it to the correct forum.
Post your full wnos.ini.

August 11, 2017 at 7:44 pm #44984That’s what I thought.
You are using Xenapp but use default settings for XenDesktop.
Change DefaultSettings=XenDesktop to DefaultSettings=XenAppCG
August 11, 2017 at 8:26 pm #44985WOW,thank you it worked.
