Hi
How do I redirect an USB SD card reader to a rdp session? I tried including SessionConfig=ALL MapDisks=Yes and SessionConfig=RDP MapDiskTo=EF in the wnos.ini file. USB flash drives shows up in the session but not the SD card reader. I’m using a D10D thin client connecting to Windows Server 2012 R2. What am I missing?
If you connect the SD card reader, do you see anything in the ThinOS eventlog?
CG
It says “USB: Found a new 480Mbps device “Mass Storage” on port 7″. I noticed that when i plug in a usb flash drive it also says “D: registered, 0xb, size 7681 MB”. It doesn’t say that when I plug in the sd card reader.
Which filesystem is used on the SD cards?
Only FAT and FAT32 is supported.

The SD cards are using exFAT filesystem.
Now you have your answer.
Format them with FAT or FAT32 and it will work.

It works now, thanks
You can get NTFS drives redirecting, as well as other devices that would not redirect easily if the driver is installed on the end system you are connecting to. You need to install/enable RDP 8.0 as well as enable UDP & TCP Transport Protocols on the “Windows Server” or “VDI (in my case)” you are connecting to.
Then add the following to your config ($Macaddress.ini in my case) file.
SessionConfig=RDP USBRedirection=RDP
Correct, but this all only works in a VDI environment and not in a Terminalserver based one.
