Does anyone know what this file is used for or where to get info about it? I have searched the web high and low an I cant see it anywhere.
Hi,
The xpress.rom is the actuall BIOS for the terminal, it is not required to have this file in the wnos directory. Sometime this file is sent by Wyse support to fix a specific user issue. Really they should turn the error message off as it is confusing,

Our solution for this error:
1.Confim that you have the wnos foder in the root of the ftp via telnet.
2.Place the RCA_wnos firmware in the wnos folder.
3.If that still does not work, reset the WinTerm to Factory Defaults and try again
