I’m trying to get the dual-display function of the V10L to work properly, but don’t seem to be having much luck.
I’ve got a 20″ monitor & a 17″ monitor connected to the V10L using the DVI-Vga converter & a VGA splitter cable. I can get both screens to display the same, but can seem to get them to work in an expanded/span mode.
Do the monitors have to be the same size, or just able to support the same resolution? Do you have to use the Wyse Splitter Cable or is my setup OK?
Any help apprecicated.
Thanks,
Doug.
Hi,
the DVI connector Wyse is using is a DVI-I. Therefore you can split this in VGA and DVI-D. But then you are not able to convert the DVI-D to another VGA signal.
You will have to use the Wyse splitter cable with one VGA and one DVI monitor connected.
Or you can buy the so called DV-20 from Wyse. This is a small metall box that connects to the DVI output and gives you 2 VGA outputs.
