    Hi all,

I need some help in identifying the WTOS startup problem. I had compiled a servlet which acts as a VDI broker for the wyse device. In it I handle the initial system initilization event and send appropiate response to the device.

The problem occurs when i restart the decvice immediately after its first startup. i.e the device sends a sys init request to the servlet and receives the response. At this point when I restart the device immediately it hangs on “Contacting SignOn Server” for some time and continues with default settings with out hitting the servlet. But after 4-5 miuntes when i restart the device it behaves normally.

I need help on this urgenty!!

    thanks in advance. 🙁

    Hi Christopher,

Does a packet capture show and attempt from the WTOS device to contact the authentication server on the next reboot? It would seem strange that a warm boot would not cause some kind of sys init.

I guess I should ask as well in a world of $50 brokers you are keen to write your own 🙂

I may need to to send me the files for the servlet if you need this one looked at closer,

    Cheers,
    -TT

yes the packet capture does show some packet request comming from the wyse device trying to communicate with the webserver server. They are SYN type of packet.
