    Hi All,

there could be an issue when the OS is serviced with SCCM. The SCCM agent can use Delta Updates and by default uses Port 8005… just like WMS’s Tomcat…

If this is the case, simply change the SCCM agent’s communication port to another port and though “free” the port for WMS..

    Hi,

if you “force unregister” the client, delete it from the device page and let it re-register, it should return to normal….

    Hi,

I did not check, but when it is listed as “supported”, then you should open a ticket with support, so it can be investigated/fixed..

    Hi,

as you have ThinOS without PCoIP, you could use RDP and Blast as connection protocoll… as Blast is a seperate package (horizon), did you update this package accordingly..?!

    Hi,

I guess you refer to the “long gone” D200=P20 device, a Teradici based device…

these devices are not x86 based and though don’t have a classic BIOS…

what do you want to do..?

    Hi,

if you are using PRO, you can set/change the hostname, returned by the server during checkin, on the “Portal Administration” page.

If you are using the free Standard version, this option is not available. In this case you could reinstall WMS while the server has the desired name and change the servername afterwards…

in this case, please open a support case….

I assume you created a correct distribution policy and I’ve never faced the issue in a way you describe it… latest with “external” images (the downloaded image from the website) it always worked….

I assume you use WMS 1.4…

    Hi Philipp,

as stated, I noticed this only when the image was not digits (with “.”) only…

in order to narrow this down, I would capture the image using USB, adjust the number accordingly in the .rsp, import it into WMS and try to distribute it afterwards…

also: when “getting” the image via WMS, did you choose to execute the sysprep, or not..?

    Hi,

most likely your build uses “not only” numbers… make sure that the image that you’re capturing has only numbers (alter HKLM\Software\WNT) and retry..

this can be set in the preferences…. simply increase from 100 (default) to your required 1000…

    Hi All,

another reason for this issue could be an update of VMWare Tools…

during the upgrade some C++ libaries are deleted that are required for the correct operation of WDM. The exact version depends of the used WDM version. If you “simply” reinstall the C++ libaries your system will work again..

    Hi,

as a “non Domain-Member”, could it be that your DHCP Server is not handing over the correct Domain-Name… (Domain Members will pick it up during Domain-Join)

    e.g.:

    DomainName: domain.local

DHCP hands over “nothing” and though WDA will look for “_WMS_MGMT” in the assigned DNS server and NOT for “_WMS_MGMT.domain.local”

    Hi,

MHP is right… after “unregistering” the device, it is still in the database… in order to delete it there you have to manually select the “event” (you will still see a “link” towards the device there) and once you reached the devices’ individual page, you can choose to delete it from the dropdown list…

WMS will ask you for a justification and afterwards the “same” device (same tag, new MAC) can register..

    Hi,

can you capture a Wireshark log from the device… this will show more detailed information…. maybe only the time is wrong…
