    Thanks CG.

    Quick question – Is there a way to import an image from USB (extracted from Wyse) to the WDM console?

    Thanks.

    Thanks CG.

    I thought of the same thing before but the issue is when the terminal boots it picks up an IP 127.0.0.1.

    I also checked the event log and the only thing what i can see there is “Characteristic is Lock” and “Connecting to Dial up Adaptor”.

    The device is on the network but not talking to any FTP server.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

    Hi,

    I fixed it – i created a new folder in regroot and copied the def.cfg file there and am now using that path to copy it to program files and this works.

    Thanks.

    Thanks Cory.

    I tried that but for some reason does not work – same result.

    Everything works well but when it comes to copying the def.cfg to the program files directory the script either fails or just hangs there.

    ANy more thoughts please?

    Thanks.

    Some more on the script below –

    I tried the script below again but this time i removed the line XC “FilesDef.cfg” “C:Program FilesTABX”
    and it works.

    Just wondering what is wrong with the above copying? Is it because i am trying to copy file from regroot after i install the package?

    Basically i want to copy the updated config file def.cfg after i install the package but for some reason as i said does not work and the script hangs.

    Pls help.

    Hi CG,

    I have set auto-login and have also set disclaimer on. So, when the terminal boots it stops at disclaimer and wait for user to click on “OK” and then loads the desktop.

    My script is basically doing the following –

    LU
    Creating shortcut
    Installing a software
    (local pause here for 60 secs)
    Adding /changing values in registry under HKCU
    (local pause here for 5 secs)
    Finally, deleting some temp files
    EL

    When i push the script, it does the following after you get the update now screen and terminal automatically rebooting in 2 mins –

    So, if there is no one to click on OK at the disclaimer screen after the unit reboots it will only do the following –

    LU
    Creating shortcut
    Installing a software

    After the above the unit restarts – the rest portion of the script has not applied – like the reg changes HKCU are not applied.

    But, if someone hits on OK at the disclaimer screen then the script executes fully – no issues.

    Please advice.

    Thanks.

    Thanks CG.

    I fixed it – i had to use the user account name “User” at the end of MR to import the registry value.

    Thanks.

    Thanks CG.

    The problem is now fixed – it was a firmware issue. I downloaded the latest firmware and it is all working now.

    Thanks.

    Also, in my previous wnos.ini file i had the following and it was working all ok – but the below is not using PNALite.

    connect=ica
    description=”Login”
    domainname=DOM
    HttpBrowsing=0
    browserip=IP list
    application=”Desktop”
    Fullscreen=1
    autoconnect=1

    I am confused – do i need to use the list of commands (PNALite – top above) and the above to auto connect?

    Thanks.

    Fixed it – the path was correct on the WDM and on the Wyse but was still throwing the same error.

    I had to then manually put in the entries of the Citrix servers on the V10L unit and then restarted the unit and it is now picking up the correct path ini file.

    Thanks again.
