I don’t know what RDP has to do with ICA but it worked. Thank you!!
So basically I need to install the RDP client then try to delete TSCAL? I will give it a go and see what happens.
Thanks,
Kristopher
Also we have been pointing to the name of the WDM server instead of the IP. Would it be better to have our terminals point to the IP Address instead?
Well, if using the 186 tag for each subnet would mean modifying DHCP on the DHCP server(s) that option is out. Being desktop support we are only allowed to make changes to PCs & Wyse terminals.
Asking the server team to for this request would only get shot down. Is there anything on the terminal side of things or on WDM that we could change?
@itd2007:
I have experienced this same problem, not only with V30L’s but also some S30’s. Have you found a soultion to this?
There is no TSCAL in the control panel on my terminals.
I had a handful of terminals that were 569 and didn’t have this problem however the majority of the older terminals are 541. I don’t have a copy of the 569 build or 576. The only ones that I have are 541, 581 & 590.
I was able to resovle this by finding a copy of Citrix ICA 9.22 that was compatible with the Identix DFR 200 fingerprint reader.
Thanks.
Tried the reset to factory defaults, reconfigured Wyse & Citrix connection and as a test when it booted up and started to autologon to Citrix I hit cancel. It did not go to the countdown and try to reconnect.
Any other ideas?
Unzipped bootstrap, yes. Deleted ICA before upgrade, no. I will give that a shot. Thanks.
I tried that and it didn’t change the outcome.
I’ve tried resetting to factory defaults on several that displayed this error and it didn’t make a difference. I can downgrade them to firmware 541 without the error but upgrading generates this message.
Windows Firewall was the problem. I was able to successfully reimage a Wyse that had previously booted to boot loader error.
Thanks for your help!
I have hooked up a computer to the private network the laptop is on and it looks like it may be an FTP issue because I can’t logon as an anonymous user.
Now I have to figure out why….
Here is what I get on the client:
It just sits there for a long while and that is it.
Windows Firewall is disabled and there is no other firewall or Antivirus running on this laptop, just XP, Magick DHCP & WSI.
I am running it though a small 5-port switch with the only two things connected are the laptop with WSI & the Wyse I am trying to reimage.
