Yeah……….Basically instead of hotlinking to https://www.attendanceadvisor.net/secure/login.aspx/ I did
http://www.attendanceadvisor.net and it redirects it to taht link.
Remove the / in that first link and it works.
and if you are using any USB printer, LPT2 normally should be named under “print”
atleast if its a network printer on a printserver
just FYI

Thats the only one Im having trouble with.
It uses ../ to look up the pic.
Bummer….iv’e had this for months and you did all that work.
Dos 6.22 and the drivers and a autoexec.bat that connects DOS drivers to a “ghost” server and yada yada yada.
Nevermind!!!!! I had my protocol.ini completely fooked as i copied it from my other choice
ding dong
4.5.3
I’ll look into that.
Open WDM, go to device manager. Right click on the device, Get Image or w/e it say’s i think it say’s (Requires PXE) which I thought I had setup.
meh why do I need another machine for DHCP? I dont get it.
Also, it gets the IP from the DHCP and just local boots, yes.
OK. I got a DHCP server running and its working. When i reboot the term it grabs the IP from the DHCP server and see’s all the subnet stuff.
Its still not pulling the image.
OK WDM Is up and running. See’s the device and Can do w/e to it besides get the image. It reboots/shuts down all that jazz.
What do you recommend for a DHCP server for this PC? Im pretty novice when it comes to doing that.
OS = XP Pro
No DHCP – Set Static IPs and subnet
I have a VX0 running XPe
It say’s it has an “update” and needs to reboot. Reboots, than boots right back into XPe. In the image manager, it shows them, but they are inactive.I am getting no error codes whatsoever.
Hell, I’m just happy it finally discovered them itself. Now I have to get the rest of it working.
Also, we are going to lock this terminal down to only be able to use IE for a few websites (401k information) for plant users. What would be the easiest way to do this?
Thanks again!
OK. I got it seeing the device. When I go to get the image. It say’s it does, but its inactive.
This is a breaking point for me.
I figured it out, I had the wrong port set. I was using Parallel to USB w/JetCet and had it on LPT1 not 2
All is well.
Well I guess we are directly supported by Wyse if we have any problems out here with the other units. They just wanted me to get the image.
Ends up the only reason they wanted it was if this microscope we are putting on there messes it all up, which it didnt 🙂
I meant 2005. Was using 2005. Yes I chagned over to a switch and still nothing. I give up. I just installed the piece of hardware that we are using and hope it never fails lol….
If it does, can I just reformat with standard Wyse ISO?
