    From the release notes for 2108:

    Limitations
    Only audio call is supported on the Wyse 3040 Thin Client. Video call results in performance issues.Workaround—Turn off the incoming video.

     

    I hope they (Citrix) just rushed this out (well.. we know they did) and optimizations will come out to improve things.

    Any plans for Microsoft Teams?

    The 3040 isn’t slated to be refreshed for a year or more but that might change.

    It is looking like 3040’s might be having issues coming up with video offload-performance. I wouldn’t be surprised if the 3040’s were refreshed with either a new model with better CPU, or same model but higher spec’d CPU’s that can handle Teams offloading.

    What version of VMware tools? There are known cursor issues as well as oddities with windows minimizing or blinking with roughly the 10.3.10 version and the prior (10.3.5). 10.3.10 is better but not perfect and VMware is working on it.
