We usually running an end-to-end scan to test the links between sites. We have a machine located centrally and a machine running remotely.

We are having some latency issues in applications served by Citrix. I would like to cover all of my bases. At this point, I am investigating the Wyse side of the environment…

I don’t have it right in front of me, but I think that it has info related to time zones.

We are using 22″ dual monitors for many workspaces, if it matters.

For what is is worth, we have many intermittent issues in my environment, as well. We are using System version 6.1.0_08 and are experiencing random latency issues. Very annoying to users, as we are just going from a PC to an all thin client environment.

We have been doing much performance monitoring on the server side, and have been monitoring the network, with no ill results noted.

We have a fairly small Citrix thin client environment that includes 6 servers at a central site that currently serve about 100 thin clients across 5 remote sites. The latency issues happen randomly, and occur regardless of the connected server. These random slowness/latency issues are holding up a larger thin client deployment.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

It seems that you are saying this may be a sporadic problem at the remote sites? I have seen where the remote thin clients sometimes pick up the settings and then other times they don’t. Very frustrating, and unfortunately I don’t have the solution to the problem – I just wanted to find out if this was the same thing happening at your site. ❓
