X90l XPE Laptop Keyboard malfunction

Hi Guys,

I’ve got one of the above laptops, it’s been working fine, but all of a sudden it as developed a fault whereby the keyboard is not functioning correctly.

The keyboard is set to UK, but when I press the following keys the listed action is occurring, rather then the proper actions:

Key ➡ Action
shift+7 ➡ The cursor returns to the line beginning ala the home key
shift+8 ➡ Nothing happens
shift+9 ➡ Nothing Happens
0 ➡ Forward slash(/)
shift+0 ➡ Forward slash(/)
? ➡ Plus sign(+)
shift +? ➡ Plus sign(+)
: ➡ Dash(-)
shift + : ➡ Dash(-)

I’m not sure what’s causing it. I’ve logged in as admin and deleted the keyboard from the device manager, so it re-installs it when it boots up, but the problems still occurs.

Any ideas what’s causing it or how to sort it? ❓
