    Hi (:

this is my first terminal i bought, was without flash drive and ram, i put 4gb ram and 120gb ssd
I’ve been struggling with it for several days to install a dedicated version of WES7 in it from the dell website, unfortunately every time the update is started via usbkey (configured by USB Firmware Imaging tool v1.19,) during image processing 1 – reports usb pushing image failed
Can anyone advise what I am doing wrong?
thank you very much for all the tips

Are you sure this was a WES7 device in the past?
Dell is protecting the devices with a security key to prevent installing the wrong OS on it.

I was’t sure aobout WES7 because on device is sticker with WES security key,

on dell site is information about my product <serial no> it’s working with WES7,

    But there’s a two mistakes what i make :

according to dell the matching install version is BOBO…etc – when the instlation star’s up – there a info “Error while validating security key”

i’ll try with BZBO.. – and instalation pass security validation but at beginning: “image 1 processing ” instalation stops with “WES7 image update failure”

last try: i was put the image via newer version of USB Firmware Imaging tool v2.1.4 – WES7 installed correctly 🙂

    btw Thank You for support
