Hi all, I am new here and relatively new to the world of Wyse/Thin Clients.

We are running around 50 V90L XPe Wyse Terminals which connect to XP VDI’s.

We are having some problems with them randomly freezing for 30secs – 2minutes a few times a day.

There seems to be no obvious pattern or link about why they are freezing.

My initial thought was to ensure that the firmware was up to date, so today I downloaded the latest version from the Wyse website along with the tool which creates a bootable USB stick with the image.

I am however having problems trying to boot from the USB stick. If I look in the BIOS I don’t seem to have a USB stick option. I do have USB-Floppy, USB-ZIP, USB-CDROM. I have read online to try the USB-ZIP option, but nothing happens.

Any help regarding the firmware upgrading as well as any suggestions regarding the freezing problem would be appreciated.

Select HDD. There should be a small “+” sign in front. When you select it, a new dialog pops up, showing (hopefully) the USB Stick.
