Do you see something like “CCID compliant reader attached” in your ThinOS eventlog when pluggin in the reader?
What brand of reader and card are you using?
    What backend?

    Hi,

    No, I see WYSE VUSB [Vid_08E6 Pid_34C2]
The card reader is Gemalto EZIO SHIELD PRO, card is a Barclays BIB card.
backend is Citrix VDI in a Box

    Many thanks

If you do not see CCID… in the eventlog, then the reader is not CCID compatible and therefore will not be recognized by ThinOS.
    Try a different one.
