    Greetings!

    I’m in need of some help.

    I have S10 clients that connect to a citrix server for a shared desktop. For some reason, when the user logs off their session, the thin client is trying to log back into the citrix server.

    I have a reconnect command set, so ever few seconds the Windows login screen appears. The problem is when a user logs off the reconnect option is actually trying to log them in with their username and no password. This is causing account lock outs.. (bad) 🙂

    Is there a way for the S10 to blank the username field when it tries to login? Or perhaps never timeout and get dumped back to the Wyse desktop? (not allowing a reconnect to happen)/ Or pherhaps there is a way to set a pre-defined user name?

    I’m assuming I’m missing a very obvious setting somewhere, but I have exhausted my limited knowledge on these devices.

    This is where it seems to cache the username, how can I get rid of this so it is blank?

    Please help!

    Nick

    I had this problem before and it was a firmware issue and was (hot)fixed by Wyse.
    I’m sure your problem will be fixed if you contact Wyse or download a new firmware.

    Wyse 1150 = 6.3.035
    Wyse V10L = 6.4.012
    Wyse S10 = 6.4.012

    I was checking the release notes for firmware 6.4.024 and found this :

    ….. : Last used Username and Domain name needs to be saved to local terminal.

    For this the follow option is available :

    SignOn={yes,no, NTLM} [SaveLastDomainUser={yes, no}]

    Not sure if this is usefull when using the “connection manager”.

    aLie, this new parameter will only save the last used username in the WTOS login dialog over a reboot. This will not help in saving the name in a session.
