    Hello,

Has anyone tried to set up an Interlink E-Pad Ink device with either terminal server or Citrix? The S10 sees it as an USB HID device.

I have installed the terminal server software on the server side but so I have to do some sort of mapping on the client?

    Wow, funky looking device…

You will need to do the following.

Test on a XP Pro PC first and check…

    – Do you need any drivers to make windows detect the device correctly? If it is a simple HID device you may be OK, if you need drivers to make it work problems.

    – The next problem is you may need to have a special virtual channel to connect the software on the server to the hardware.

If it does work on a PC it should work on an S10 with a bit of driver tweaking.

    Cheers,

I do have it working on a XP device.

There is a .dll required on the client side and modifications that need to be made to the module.ini file in Citrix client directory.

I think I may need to go with an XPe device or PC (DOOH!). That is unless Wyse comes though with a miracle answer for me!

    Thanks

Excellent, you will need to contact Wyse and get a hold of a Wyse SE and talk to him. It will really come down to cost, you can get a statment of work to see what the fee might be first. If you have lots of units to deploy this on they may do it for free, if its one there will be a cost and it will be simpler to use one XPe device.

Post back with how you got on!

    Cheers,

This is a confirmation that these will work on an XPE device.

    Cheers Everyone!
