WYSE C10LE and Server 2012 VDI

    All,

    I have been racking my brain and scouring the internet trying to find the answer to my issue with our WYSE C10LE’s. I recently setup a new Server 2012 VDI Pooled Environment on Server RDS1.MYDOMAIN.LOCAL. The Desktop Pool is called Remote Desktop. I have my users connecting to it from home using the RDWEB site normally. However I have had a devil of a time connecting our Thin Clients to it. I setup a WNOS.ini file with the following parameters:

    VDIBroker=RDS1.MYDOMAIN.LOCAL
    AutoConnectList=REMOTE DESKTOP
    ConnectionBroker=Microsoft

    And the thin clients load this file properly, however when I try to connect I get an immediate RD Broker Sign On Failed from the Thin Client.

    So my questions are:

    Is there a place on the connection broker where I can troubleshoot why a connection is being denied? I looked in the event logs and didn’t see anything

    Am I configuring this correctly?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Ran into this as well. Go to Server Manager, open up the RDS session collection, edit the properties, and under “security” change the security level to “Client Compatible” instead of the default “High.”
