All things Wyse and Thin Clients
Home › Forum › WTOS/ThinOS › Wyse 5010 – UploadCoreDump, Beacon lost
Hello all,
I am trying to figure out a solution to our problem. Our company has many T50s, 3040s and 5010s deployed in production. While the T50s and 3040s are generally rock solid, including all 5010s with System version 8.3_012. The 5010s without version 8.3_012 continually drop connection to the RDP.
Within seconds/minutes of connecting, the log will show UploadCoreDump :2 (it is usually any number, 1,2,3,4). Please insert a USB. Then in a matter of minutes, everything freezes and the log says beacon lost and it disconnects. Once it disconnects, we have to shut down the thin clients, then restart to grab a connection again. This happens on all 5010s without Version 8.3_012.
Does anyone know the fix? Or where I can find that version to load?
Any help is appreciated!
Thank you!
There have been server updates to WTOS RDP, best to upgrade incrementally a test device and see the results. What is the server version you are accessing?
Hello,
Thank you for your response.
Windows Server 2012 R2.
We have tried on all versions from 8.4_009 – 8.6_013 on the 5010s. Every one of them do the same things. Disconnect frequently from the server and show the uploadcoredump, then beacon lost. All 8.3_012 system versions never do this and are essentially stable always.
Thank you.
