    Hi guys,

    Wyse 3040 noob here.  The last time I worked with a Wyse terminal was with the Wyse 60 probably 10+ years ago.  Anyways, I am trying to properly configure this terminal to connect to a 2008 R2 server and here’s what I’m looking to do:

    1.  I want the thin client upon boot to show an RDP login screen within the ThinOS GUI so that users can input their account information so they can connect to my 2008 R2 server.

    2.  When they logout from the 2008 R2 server, I want the terminal to show the same login screen as before.

    Hopefully this makes sense.  Like I said before, I’m a noob at this so I’ll need all the help I can get.

    Thanks

    Two ways to go.
    1. Locally: Open System Setup – Remote Connection. Enter your Microsoft Broker details here. Make sure you are pointing to the RDSH web role (RDweb).
    After that go to System Setup – Remote Connection – General Option and configure the client to “Sign-off automatically”
    2. Remote (centrally) via wnos.ini:
    AutoSignoff=yes
    VDIBroker=your_RDweb_server
    ConnectionBroker=Microsoft
    SignOn=Yes
