Now this may just be a case if impossible and if that’s the case sorry for wasting your time.
I have two Server 2012 R2 Servers Setup for RDS, one is configured as the RDWEB, Session Broker, License Server and Session Host for Published Desktop, The other is session host for RemoteApps.
When I connect to RDWEB and use the shortcuts to connect to either the Published Desktop or the Remote Apps on the second server it works properly redirecting the connections as it should.
Now when I connect with my Wyse S10 Terminal Running WTOS 7.1_207, using the remote desktop session broker, the Published Desktop works fine but the RemoteApps on the second server fail to connect.
The event log on the terminal shows
RDP: data pduType2 – err pduType2 54
Is this just not compatiable with this version of WTOS / Server 2012 R2 RDS or do I need to change something somewhere on either the terminals or servers.
Thanks
Chris
Not 100% sure, but I think this firmware is incompatible.

Would this be more likely to work with Server 2008 R2 RDS Desktop/RemoteApp Publishing ? or do we think the firmware just doesn’t support the redirection used by the session broker full stop for this scenario.
Thanks
Chris
More likely, but not sure. Could be a limitation of the implemented RDP client.
S10s are really really old.
Maybe time to swap.

I would have to look second hand, can you recommend a newer unit that has the same style of os as the S10 and uses same kind of config files from ftp.
Thanks
Wyse 3040 or 5070
