    Hello all,
I some how corrupted my OS on the 64mb Smart Media flash. Went to Wyse.com and could only find 256mb versions. Searched the web and local camera shops for the obsolete 256mb media to no avail.

Is there a place to download the 64mb OS?

Is there a place that sells these old Smart Media card?

Can you modify the flash memory bay to use standard SD cards?

    Best regards,
    Mark O

There was never ever a 9235 with only 64MB. The 9235 has always 128MB soldered on the board plus the flash in the socket. So, it looks like your 9235 has 192MB of flash.
And a 192MB image is still available on the Wyse download site.

Thanks for the update CG. That makes total sense. I can find 128mb removable media to upgrade to 256 total.

I doubt this will work. I think to remember that this was kind of special memory modul. But it is worth a try.

I decided to reflash with the existing 64mb SM card. I used the NetXfer utility as described here. It worked and updated with XPe version 1 128mb. I then tried to update the version 2 192mb using WSI utility. There was a lot of errors in the process so I tried the utility on a different PC running windows XP Pro with no firewall. It uploaded successfully, ran through a few evaluation steps and lock up on “Searching for: (~)->(~BOOT)
Am I missing an update for the original OS Version 1 to enable the update to version 2?

What do you mean by version1 and version 2?
