    Hello there,

we are using WMS to set up Wyse 5070 with ThinOS 8.6_511 and we have a problem with the new network icon in the Zero Toolbar that needs to be fixed.
If we click on the icon in a running RDP Session the network settings will open and changes can be done, even if the user has not entered the admin mode.
Is there any way to hide the icon or prevent it from opening the network settings?

    Thanks in advance,
    Michael

    Are you using Privilege=none?
AFAIK there is no way to hide the icon.

Yes we are using, Privilege=none and like I said the network settings only open by clicking the icon while I’m in a running RDP connection.
Otherwise if I click the Icon while in the ThinOS – “Home Screen”, nothing happens.

It would be enough for me if the network setting would not open by clicking the Icon or at least that changes only can be done if the Admin is loged in.

Could it be that this is a Bug and that this will gonna be ereased with the upcoming version 9.1?

I’m gonna post our WMS ini below, may I got an error in the configuration:

How do you get the network icon accessed inside the session?
Looking at your config you are running the RDP sessions in Fullscreen. Therefore, you should not see anything of the local ThinOS desktop.

We see the Toolbar incl. the network icon when movebthe mouse to thebleft screen border and hold it there. This behavior is also desired. But the Network Settings are not.

What do you think what I mean?
Of course, to get rid of the network icon.
