Hello, I am using a newly installed Dell WMS (Standard) and have managed to update the ThinOS from 8.6_013 to 8.6_810 without too much heartburn on a Wyse 5010 (platform shows 5012-D10D). But, when I try to upload the BIOS to the latest version (8.6_024) under the ThinOS BIOS button in WMS, I receive “Invalid Bios File”, so I’m at a loss. It’s named D10G_bios.bin and I’ve selected 5012-D10D for the BIOS platform type. The system information on the client currently shows BIOS Version 3.0D. Am I missing some step? This is my first foray into WMS or updating thin clients.
Thanks,
Exact same issue for me. Have yet to speak to Dell about it.
